Remotely monitor
equipment and facilities that are unmanned or desire constant
attention. Alarm inputs from a machine or physical process
are monitored and upon sensing an alarm condition, automatically
dial a paging terminal with pre-programmed alphanumeric pages
for each alarm. Know exactly what alarm and what condition
is present. Notify individuals or an entire response team
immediately. Users can acknowledge the page via phone and
control the unit’s relay outputs connected to pumps,
motors, etc. The unit monitors 8 closure inputs for ground,
open circuit, and 4 analog inputs for high or low limit conditions.
Other devices can scan the output data stream of monitors
such as building monitors, computer firewalls, or PLCs,
and searches for pre-defined ASCII strings. With the intelligence
to follow established procedures when a particular event
occurs, the unit will notify a list of contacts by radio
or telephone and forward a prerecorded voice message or
alpha page customized for that alarm.
