ComSoft Corporation of Virginia, a full service telecommunications & software development company, today announced it has completed the acquisition of assets belonging to Aquis Communications, Inc. and Satellink Communications, Inc. ComSoft was the senior secured debt holder and majority shareholder of Aquis Communications, Inc. Additionally, ComSoft acquired the assets of Satellink Communications, Inc. through a UCC Article 9 sale. ComSoft intends to integrate the Aquis and Satellink operations and employees with those of ComSoft and their affiliate company ComServe Corporation. Through seamless transitions there will be no interruption of service to customers.

ComSoft intends to expand their telecommunication offerings nationally under the Aquis Communications brand. “Aquis has done a superb job of branding the company and they have name recognition throughout the country”, said Richard Gdovic, Chairman of ComSoft Corporation. “Aquis’ and Satellink’s reputation for quality service, and diverse product offerings as well as Aquis’ acquisition strategy will be key to our success. Aquis and ComSoft have collectively completed over 40 acquisitions and helped retired nearly $100 million in debt. The resulting company has a healthy balance sheet with good cash flow, minimal debt and access to capital.

ComSoft intends to keep operating the majority of office locations of Aquis in New Jersey , Pennsylvania , and Virginia and Satellink’s offices in Tennessee , Georgia , and Louisiana . “Customers will realize the benefits of the acquisitions right away through improved customer service and billing,” adds Gdovic.
